STONE COUNTIANS IN WORLD WAR I.
Join us for a special WWI program on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 2 pm with storyteller Charley Sandage and the band, Harmony. The trio will perform original songs composed by Sandage about Stone County men in WWI.
The stories of these men are remarkable and certainly worth remembering and honoring. The Stone County Honor Guard will present the colors. Admission is free to this event at the Edwin Luther Auditorium in the Stone County Historical Society complex at 206 School Avenue, Mountain View.
A special 80-page WWI publication by editor Robbie Purdom will be available after June 1.
